Ray-Ban® is an American-Italian brand of luxury sunglasses and eyewear founded in 1936 by the American company Bausch & Lomb. In 1999, Bausch & Lomb sold the brand to the Italian eyewear conglomerate Luxottica Group. The brand is known best for its Wayfarer and Aviator lines of sunglasses. Throughout its seven-and-a-half decades, Ray-Ban has been instrumental in pushing boundaries in music and the arts, forging the rise of celebrity culture, and creating the power of the rock and movie stars to influence fashion. From James Dean to Audrey Hepburn to Michael Jackson, Ray-Ban has proven indispensable for cultural icons who don’t want to be seen - but definitely want to be noticed. Ray-Ban has left an indelible mark on culture history.
As we are a Ray-Ban certified store, we stock a wide range of Ray-Ban frames, including the newest styles. Additionally, if there’s a specific frame you have had your eye on that we don’t have in stock we are able to order in the frame for you. We stock both optical frames and sunglasses, and can order these in for you with your choice of either Ray-Ban branded lenses or glaze them ourselves with our own optical quality lenses in our onsite lab.
Unlike our optical quality lenses, Ray-Ban prescription lenses come with their stamp of authenticity.
The logo sits in the corner of the right lens and the RB initials are engraved on the left side. This will be the same whether they are prescription optical glasses or sunglasses.
Ray-Ban offer a range of lens types, colours, and coatings, including polarized, gradient polarized, mirrored and chromance.
Ray-Ban Remix:
Ray-Ban remix allows you to create your own personal style and unique combination. There are 37 styles, 149 lens types and 290 colour options to choose from.
