Children usually have their eyes checked by a health visitor at around 1 year old, but it is also a good idea to get them tested by a qualified optometrist too. We have a large selection of children’s frames available including LOL, Harry Potter, Batman, Barbie and many more. We also have designer frames such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Ray Ban and Oakley. All of our children’s spectacle lenses come with full UV protection.
Children under the age of 16 will also receive an NHS optical voucher which can be used towards the cost their glasses. You will find that our practices offer a wide range of attractive styles specially designed for young faces. These frames are completely FREE of charge with an NHS voucher and will be fitted by a member off staff to ensure that they are comfortable for your child and provide them with their best possible vision. Many frames also have soft nose pads for extra comfort and spring hinges for added strength.
